I rather enjoyed this quote:
"Shin Jung-hyun said in a recent interview, “There is no real music on Korea’s pop music scene these days. There is only greed.”

I'm confused. I thought it was well acknowledged that K-pop songs are all rip offs. Strolling through the supermarket and being subject to K-pop (a place where it's hard to avoid) I can usually identify most melodies.

And Hyo-ri? I thought copying other people was her "style". She carbon copied JLo's uniform for awhile. Then Christina Aguilera’s Candyman video. And on and on...

How has this become a scandal?

@ GOP Feeling;

Thanks for the nod. Love your work, too.

@ JSK;

Two unprecedented events:

1. She admitted that the songs were plagiarized.

2. She removed the accused seven songs from her album.

Add to that the fact that, since most K-pop artists don't write their own songs, other artists have bought songs from the same songwriter as she did.
