I'll have to check which day it was, but the teacher who replaced me at my former place of employment told me that she's read my blog and that she saw Yie Eun-woong in Itaewon on the weekend, during the afternoon, following a drunken, stumbling foreigner down some stairs (forgot to ask which ones, but I have a hunch). She also told me that several foreigners were standing around watching him, well aware of who he was. Kudos to the author of that LA Times article - he deserves a beer or two (but not in Itaewon - who knows who could be watching?).
I was aware of the T-shirt made of him (and other riffs on it), but not that someone had figured out where the photo of him was taken. Good work, all around.

Wow. Had I seen him, I would have actually gone up and started talking with the guy. Just to see if it's possible to talk him down from his perch.
Matt, I saw you yesterday.
Maybe he will win. I feel the end is nigh http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100216/ap_on_hi_te/eu_tec_techbit_wireless_show_google_translation
Okay, it's time to get the iPhone Yie Eunga GPS app written and uploaded.
Just like celebs Stateside have their every movement posted, twittered, and facebooked every time they are seen out, Eunga needs to have his movements tracked minute-by-minute, too.
It's NET's turn to "follow" the infamous Yie!
I'd love to meet him, but I'm afraid he'd want me to slip him a white envelope for "protection."
Rather than "spotted," I'd much prefer to see Yie Eun-wrong "tarred and feathered in It'aewon."
He's taking his crusade to Vancouver.
I read the LA Times article. It answered a few of the questions I had.
Clearly, someone suffers from cognitive dissonance.
