After reading all the
propaganda information provided by the government at
a page about the four rivers project at Korea.net, I'm starting to wonder if perhaps I misjudged the whole thing. Just look at the delightful cartoons

here, and perhaps your mind will change too!

Who is the target audience for these cartoons I wonder? Are there Korean originals as well?
The gold and silver "hoe" references in the second story wouldn't make much sense without knowing about the original folktale.
I can't help but wonder what their motivation is. After all, foreigners can't vote, can't express their political opinion, and to my knowledge this story hasn't gotten a lot of play outside of Dae Han Min Guk. Are they trying to get our approval, or put something resembling fair information out to the foreign businessmen?
