HIV tests and E-2 visa regulations

Last week Professor Benjamin Wagner attended the 9th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP9) in Bali, Indonesia, and spoke about "HIV-Specific Restrictions on Residence and Migration in South Korea" during a session titled "HIV and National Borders: Building Research/Evidence on Mobility, Migration and HIV." He posted the talk he gave with images from his power point presentation at vimeo.com and youtube (parts 1,2,3,4)

Anyone who is curious to know why E-2 visa holders need to have HIV tests will find the video interesting. Also interesting is that Korea will be hosting the ICAAP conference in 2011...

Korea will host the ICAAP conference? Well, that's ironic.
