I've made mention of James Wade's book One Man's Korea before, and yesterday I was reading it and came across a timely piece of short fiction in it titled "Christmas in Costaguana," which is from his series 'Chronicles of Costaguana,' tales of foreigners and their interaction with the Spanish-speaking natives (and each other) and a land called Costaguana (the name is from a Joseph Conrad novel, as is the name of the capital city, Sulaco (also the name of the ship in Aliens)), which may resemble another familiar country...
